The routine gynecological examination, usually performed once a year, includes a visual examination of the external genital area, vagina and cervix, cervico-vaginal cytology and gynecological ultrasound.

It is not always necessary to take a Pap smear, but if necessary, this entails an additional cost of EUR 30 for the sample analysis.

In addition a palpation of the breast and underarms as well as an ultrasound or a mammography according to the age of the patient must be realized.

All of these tests except mammography are done at the consultation within the gynecological examination.
